Théatres en Utopie is an architectural exhibition devoted to theatrical projects imagined and never built. Created at the Grande Saline Royale d’Arc-et-Senans, the project features iconography from 20 countries and 80 institutions, and presents 90 theater models drawn from disparate and incomplete sources. The exhibition is immersed in an spatialized soundscape, inviting visitors to concentrate and reflect. Théatres en Utopie was repeated at Le Lieu Unique in Nantes and at La Ferme des Tilleuls in Switzerland. The catalog is available from Actes Sud.

Yann Rocher (design & manufacturing), Xavier Dousson (design & manufacturing), Hervé Bérenger (mechanics and sound system), Grégoire Carpentier (composition).
